The California Rodeo and David Drew Productions announced that Country singer Jamie O'Neal will open for the Creedence Clearwater Revisited concert on July 18th at Municipal Stadium.
Her successes are well known to country fans. Jamie launched her career with back-to-back #1's- "There Is No Arizona" and "When I Think About Angels”—and followed with hits like “Shiver“, "Trying To Find Atlantis” and the #3 tribute to moms everywhere, "Somebody's Hero". Along the way, she has earned four Grammy nominations and a host of other awards and critical accolades
The concert will follow the Saturday performance of the 99th Annual California Rodeo Salinas. Gates will open at 6:30 PM with music beginning at 7 PM. Creedence Clearwater Revisited to play during 99th California Rodeo
Concert Saturday July 18th at Salinas Municipal Stadium
SALINAS, CA –The California Rodeo Salinas and David Drew Productions are pleased to announce that Creedence Clearwater Revisited will play on Saturday July 18th at Salinas Municipal Stadium during the 99th California Rodeo Salinas.
The concert gates will open at 6:30pm with Creedence Clearwater Revisited taking the stage at 9pm. A search for opening acts is still underway. VIP tickets will be $55.00 and General Admission tickets will be $35.00 plus applicable fees. Tickets go on sale Wednesday April 29th at 10am at the Salinas Sports Complex Box Office at 1034 N. Stu Cook and Doug “Cosmo” Clifford, who played bass and drums respectively for Creedence Clearwater Revival, launched the Creedence Clearwater Revisited project in 1995 to once again perform live Creedence Clearwater Revival hits. Initially planning to only play private events, the group now performs up to 100 shows per year and has released the album “Recollection.” The band now includes Stu & Cosmo on bass and drums along with lead singer/rhythm guitar player John Tristao, lead guitarist Tal Morris and multi-instrumentalist Steve Gunner.
